1.) Visiting Shivaji and Parvati on Nag Asana:

In theNag Chandreshwar temple, devotees visit the wonderful statue of the 11th century. In this statue Shiva-Parvati is the son of Vishnu Nag.
It is believed that this statue was brought here from Nepal. Apart from Ujjain there is no such statue anywhere in the world.

2.) The statue is situated on the upper floor of the Mahakaleshwar temple:

This statue is situated on the top floor ofJyotirlinga Mahakaleshwar.
The devotees get long queues a day before the eyes of Nag Chandreshwar.
On entering the Nag Chandreshwar temple, the statue of LordNag Chandreshwaris seen on the right. These images are excellent specimens of Maratha art and the realization of Shiva Shakti.
After 24 hours continuous sighting, 12.30 pm will be closed for the next year.
Prior to closing the gate, traditional worship will be done by theMahakalaleswar templeat 8 pm in order of pilgrim prayers.

By air-
