Kailash Mansarovar:
Lord Shiva is seated here. This is the center of the earth. Mount Kailash and Mount Meru are located near Kailash Mansarovar, the highest point in the world. This entire region has been called Shiva and Devlok. Full of mysteries and miracles, the glory of this place is filled in the Vedas and Puranas.
Mount Kailash is 22,068 feet above sea level and is located in Tibet in the northern region from the Himalayas. Since Tibet is under China, Kailash falls in China, which is the spiritual center of four religions –Tibetan religion, Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism. Four rivers have originated from 4 directions of Mount Kailash –Brahmaputra, Indus, Sutlej and Karnali.
Kanyakumari Temple:
There is a temple of Kumari Devi on the beach, where the girl form of Goddess Parvati is worshipped. Men have to remove their clothes above the waist to enter the temple. According to the popular legend, due to the failure of the marriage of the goddess, the lentils and rice that were saved later became kankars. Amazingly, pebbles of the size and shape of lentils and rice can be seen in abundance in the sands of the beach of Kanyakumari.
Sunrise and Sunset:
Kanyakumari is quite famous for its sunrise view. In the morning a huge crowd of tourists gather on the roof of every hotel to welcome the sun. It is also memorable to see the setting sun in the Arabian Sea in the evening. There is also a sunset point about 2-3 kms towards the north.
Karni Mata Temple:
This temple of Karni Mata which is located in Bikaner (Rajasthan), is a very unique temple. About 20 thousand black rats live in this temple. Lakhs of tourists and devotees come here to fulfill their wishes. The temple of Karni Devi, who is believed to be an incarnation of Durga, is also known as the ‘rat temple’.
Here the rats are called Kaaba and they are fed properly and they are protected. There are so many rats here that you will have to drag your feet.
If a mouse also comes under your feet then it is considered bad omen. It is said that if a mouse has passed over your feet, then consider that you have been blessed by the Goddess and if you see a white mouse, then your wish has been fulfilled.
Shani Shingnapur:
There are many temples of Shani Dev, the son of Sun, in the country. One of them is the Shani temple of Shingnapur located in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The specialty of this world famous Shani temple is that the stone statue of Shani Dev situated here is seated on a marble platform under the open sky without any umbrella or dome.
Here the fear of Lord Shani Maharaj in Shignapur city is so much that most of the houses in the city do not have windows, doors and safes. If there are doors instead of doors, then only curtains. This is because there is no theft here. It is said that Shani Maharaj himself punishes whoever steals. There are many direct examples of this. Somnath Temple:
Somnath Temple is an important Hindu temple which is counted as the first Jyotirlinga among the 12 Jyotirlingas. In ancient times, its Shivling used to swing in the air, but the invaders broke it. It is believed that 24 Shivlings were established, in which the Shivling of Somnath was in the middle. These Shivlings also include the Shivling of Kaaba in Macca. Some of these Shivlings come below the Tropic of Cancer located in the sky.
Situated in the port of Veraval in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, it is said about this temple that it was built by Chandradev himself. It is also mentioned in Rigveda. This place is considered the most mysterious. This was the main place for the Yaduvanshis. This temple has been destroyed 17 times till now and rebuilt each time.
It is here that Lord Krishna left his body. Sri Krishna was resting on Bhaluka shrine, when the hunter had deceived the padma sign on the bottom of his foot and deceived him as the eye of a deer, only then Krishna left his body and went to Vaikuntha from here. A very beautiful Krishna temple is built at this place.
Kamakhya Temple:
Kamakhya Temple has been called the stronghold of Tantrics. One of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Mata, this Peeth is considered to be the most important. It is located in Guwahati, Assam. The idols of Tripurasundari, Matangi and Kamala are mainly installed here. On the other hand the idols of 7 other forms have been installed in different temples, which surround the main temple.

Ajanta-Ellora Temples:
The Ajanta-Ellora Caves are located near the city of Aurangabad in Maharashtra. These caves are made by cutting big rocks. 29 caves are in Ajanta and 34 caves are in Ellora. These caves are protected as World Heritage. These were built by the rulers of the Rashtrakuta dynasty. The mystery of these caves is still being researched today. Here sages and monks used to do intense penance and meditation.
Situated on the Sahyadri hills, these 30 caves have about 5 prayer halls and 25 Buddhist monasteries. These caves built in the shape of a horseshoe are of very ancient and historical importance. In these, Buddhism from 200 BC to 650 AD has been depicted. In these caves, the effect of Triveni Sangam of faith shown towards Hindu, Jain and Buddhist 3 religions is seen. The 12 caves on the south side are based on Buddhism (based on the Mahayana sect), the 17 caves in the middle are based on Hinduism and the 5 caves on the north are based on Jainism.
Khajuraho Temple:
Although Khajuraho is a small town located in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh province of India, but still, after Taj Mahal in India, if any other name comes in the most visited and visited tourist places, then it is Khajuraho. . Khajuraho is a unique example of Indo-Aryan architecture and architecture.
The Chandela rulers built these temples between AD 900 and 1130. The earliest mention of these temples in history is that of Abu Rihan al-Biruni (1022 AD) and Arab traveler ibn Battuta. Art connoisseur Chandela kings had built about 84 unique and wonderful temples, but only 22 of them have been discovered so far. These temples belong to Shaivite, Vaishnava and Jain sects.

Jwala Devi Temple:
The temple of Jwaladevi is situated at ad distance of 30 km to the south of the Kangra Valley of Himachal. It is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Maa Sati. Mother’s tongue had fallen here. For thousands of years, fire is emanating from the mouth of the Goddess located here. This temple was discovered by the Pandavas.
Another attraction of this place is the copper pipe through which natural gas flows. There are 9 different flames of different fire in this temple, which are dedicated to different goddesses. According to scientists, it could be the fire of a dead volcano.
