Today, we are going to tell you something new about Hanuman ji, which you probably have never read or heard about. In connection with Hanuman ji.
Hanuman Facts(Names for Lord Hanuman):
Hanuman ji is called by many names likeBajrangbali, Pawan’s son, Anjani’s son, Ram devotee.Everyone probably knows this thing, but not everyone knows some of the facts that are being told further.
1. Hanuman Brothers:
Hanuman ji had five real brothers Yes… Hanuman ji had five real brothers and all of them were married. it’s no story or is not just a matter told to make it a means of entertainment, but the truth. Hanuman ji had five brothers. The mention of this is found in ‘Brahmand Purana’.
According to the Brahmanda Purana, this Purana contains the description of Lord Hanuman’s father Kesari and his lineage. The great thing is that Bajrangbali was the eldest among the five brothers. i.e Vanar Raj Kesari had 6 sons when Hanumanji was included.

Dhritiman.
All of them also had children, from which their dynasty lasted for years.
2. Hanuman and Vibhishan: –
When Hanumanji was combusting Lanka, he did not burn Ashok Vatika because Sita was kept there. On the other hand, he did not burn the buildings of Vibhishan because the Basil plant was planted at the door of the building’s house. The sacred symbol of Lord Vishnu was made of conch, chakra and mace. The most enjoyable was that the name ‘Ram’ was named above his house. Seeing this Hanumanji did not burn his house.
When Vibhisan came to Shriram Sharan, Sugriva proposed to Shriram, telling him as the brother of the enemy, and feared him and tried to catch him and punish him. Then Shriramji gave shelter to Vibhishan.
After the gods and goddesses of Indra, Vibhishan was the first person on earth to praise Hanumanji. Vibhishanan also got the blessing of becoming Chiranjeevi like Hanumanji. They are also alive today’s body. Vibhishan has composed a very wonderful and perfect psalm in the praise of Hanumanji. This psalm, written by Vibhishan, is called‘Hanuman Vadhavanal Stotra’.
3. Surviving of Hanuman ji:
Madhavacharya in the 13th century, Tulsidas in the 16th century, Raghavendra Swami in the 17th century and Ramdas in the 20th century, all these claim that they appeared in Hanuman ji.
It is said in Hinduism and the Puranas that Hanuman ji resides in this earth till the end of Kalyug. Parshuram, Ashwatthama, Vishwamitra, Vibhishan and Raja Bali, along with Hanuman, will all appear on this earth in public when Lord Vishnu will be born here on earth in the incarnation of Kalki.
In Kaliyug, Hanuman ji, Bhairav, Kali and Mata Amba are considered as awakened deities, only by meditating on them, they become activated immediately. So, as soon as they are pleased they become angry if they are insulted in any way.

There was also a war of Hanuman ji and Shri Ram. Guru Vishwamitra ordered Shri Ram to slaughter King Yayati, the orders of Mother Anjana, Hanuman ji went to protect King Yayati from Lord Rama. Instead of fighting any weapon, Hanuman ji started chanting Lord Rama’s name, all the arrows that Ram performed on Hanuman ji were all in vain. In the end, all of Hanuman ji, including Vishwamitra, were amazed to see devotion towards Ram and Vishwamitra gave life to King Yayati by ordering Ram to stop the war.

According to a legend, an Apsara namedAnjana(Hanuman Mother)was cursed by a sage that whenever she falls in love, her face will be like that of a monkey. But Lord Brahma helped Anjana to get free from this curse. With his help, Anjana was born on earth as a woman. Here he fell in love with Kesari, the king of monkeys. After marriage, Anjana started the penance of Lord Shiva to get rid of the curse. Pleased with the penance, Shiva asked him to ask for a boon. Anjana told Lord Shiva that in order to get rid of the curse of the sadhu, he had to give birth to an incarnation of Shiva. Therefore Shiva should be born as a child from his womb.
Shiva worship-
Saying ‘Tathastu’ Shiva disappeared. After this incident, one day Anjana was worshiping Shiva and during this time in another corner,King Dasaratha, along with his three queens, was performing a yajna to get the son Ratna.
Prasad fell in Anjana’s hand-
Agni Dev gave the divine ‘payas’ toKing Dasaratha, which was to be fed to the three queens. But During this a miraculous event happened. A bird took a little emulsion in the bowl of that emulsion, stuck in its paws, and dropped it in Anjana’s hand, absorbed in penance.
Shiva’s Prasad:
Anjana accepted it as Shiva’s offering and shortly after she gave birth to a boy with a monkey face. Very few people know that the name of this boy wasMaruti(Hanuman real Name/Hanuman Child Name), which later came to be known as‘Hanuman’.
Another fact related to Hanuman ji is quite interesting. According to a legend, once Hanuman ji had applied vermilion all over his body in memory of Shri Ram. This is because once he gave vermilion to Mother Sita.
Looked it up. When he asked the reason for applying vermilion, Sita ji told that it is a symbol of his love and respect for Shri Ram.
8. Lal Hanuman(Red Hanuman)-
It was just too late to know that Hanuman ji applied vermilion all over his body to show that he too loved Shri Ram very much. After this incident the‘Lal Hanuman’form of Hanuman also became very popular.
Sanskrit meaning of the word Hanuman:
There are some small facts related to Hanuman ji, which very few people know. As for his name, the word ‘Hanuman’, if taken in Sanskrit, means “one who has a deformed mouth or jaw”.
9. Hanuman and Bhima:
In the Mahabharata period, Pandu’s son Prince Bhima was known for his strength. It is said that he was thebrother of Hanuman ji.
10. Brahmachari Hanuman-
Apart from this, Hanuman ji, who is called Brahmachari, was also married.Hanuman wife name is Suvarchala. His son’s name is Makardhwaja(Hanuman Son).
Information about Hanumanji is found in many Hindu religious texts like Ramayana, Shri Ramcharitmanas, Mahabharata and many more.
